I am keen to research the history of the Corps, and in particular, the history of my Wing (ESSW)

Does anyone know where I can find a list of disbanded Squadrons? I'd love to find out Squadron histories and things

Try writing to HQAC, they love things like that.

Am I permitted to write directly to HQAC or do I have to go through the chain of command first?

hqac do not have history details for the corps other that national events. your wing h q may have better details on your wing.
