Members of Staff and Instructor Cadets from Squadrons within Northern Ireland wing attended a Course of Instruction at RAF Aldergrove over the weekend of 12^th/13^th September for the Heartstart Programme. Having completed this course, it will enable those staff to teach cadets in this basic lifesaving first aid skill on behalf of the British Heart Foundation.

The trainer, Squadron Leader Alistar Ridland, who is also the Regional First Aid Trainer said, “This is great to see so many staff in the wing complete the training over the weekend and I am delighted to have come across from Scotland again to teach First Aid to Northern Ireland wing.
